CHALLENGE BY LAURIE

Good morning!! I hope you all had a great mother's day!! It was a beautiful sunny day here, so that was a plus!! My husband and I watch the food network all the time, and on Saturday we saw a recipe for stuffed french toast. So he went to the grocery store and bought all the ingredients and we made it on Mother's Day, quite yummy!!! You have to check out yesterday's post and read the poem Kelly wrote. She is AMAZING with poetry!

I made this card for a challenge over at http://magchallengebythepage.blogspot.com/. They have fun Cricut Cartridge challenges. This challenge was to use only images on Page 57 of Graphically Speaking. Since I had that cart I thought I would play along.

I ended up using three cuts from the page. The butterflies cut at an inch and shadowed, the word ENJOY cut at 3" and the little swirls are cut at 1.5". The brow and pink paper are core'dinations, and I sandpapered it to give it a rustic look.

I just realized after I put the picture up you can see the little German Shepherd statue to the left of the picture. We have a German Shepherd and Golden Retriever and my son has little statutes of them. I am laughing as I look at the picture. Oh well! Have a great day!!
