PA AND HIS DOLLHOUSE

Good morning ladies. Thank you sooooo very much for your birthday wishes! It means a lot to me!!

Here is a layout I did of my Dad. Building doll houses is one of his many hobbies, so I thought I would capture him doing what he loves best.

I can not take credit for the layout of this page. Kel saw this layout over on one of our new followers Tracey, @ http://gracescraps.blogspot.com/. Thanks, Kel for scrapping it forward and thanks Tracey for this awesome layout.
Ladies you need to head over over and check out Tracey's blog, she has some amazing work!!!

The cardstock I used on this page is Cor'dinations and all the strips are from my scraps, and I then cuttlebugged a few with a folder that looks like wood. I used sandpaper all over the page as well as on the strips, to give it a weathered look. The tools are stamps from StampinUP, I think from Tool Time. The letters are from my new E2 (loving her) from the Cricut Alphabet (awesome cart), it comes preloaded on the E2.

  2. The pictures so do not do this LO justice!! I got to see it in person and it is spectacular!! All the colors Laurie picked coordinate perfectly with the colors in the picture; the embossing and texturizing is fab; and the stamps are perfect. Great job!

  7. What an honor that you would lift my layout. I love how you used the woodgrain embossing on your cardstock to reflect the woodworking your dad is doing in the photo! Thanks for letting me know you have been inspired by my LO's.
