Here is a beautiful card from Tara at: . A Stamping Good Time She says "The colors are: Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, and Certainly Celery...all part of the new Subtles Collection of SU colors. The stamp set is Artistic Etchings and Teeny Tiny Wishes. The technique is what I call the tye-dye method, that I am going to feature this week in Baltimore at the Stampin Up! Regional Training!"

COLOR CHALLENGE, Week 2, Day 2, Post 2

Here is a great layout sent in by Jean's Crafty Corner: Serenity Scrappers Color Challenge She says: "While I was thinking about what to do, I was thinking about how I mainly make layouts for pictures, but you can also make them without pictures and also wall hangings, etc. I love to make layouts and frame them as gifts, so thinking about that, I decided to make a layout with a bible verse on it to frame and hang up. I used a blue background sheet,a purple flower and button and then for the green, I cut the stem from Serenade, the leaves from Gypsy Wanderings and the frame is from Storybook. I printed the sentiment onto the cut in purple. The butterflies are stickers by Jolee. I like how this turned out and think it will make a really nice framed layout."

COLOR CHALLENGE - WEEK TWO

Good morning,
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I just wished they didn't go by so fast!
Here is a card I made, I thought I would join in the fun. I also decided to go old school and not use anything from the Cricut. That wasn't easy, but I did it. I used my Cuttle bug to emboss the small strip going across the card. I used the small border folder. The flowers I used are from my stash, sorry I have them all together I am not sure which ones. The purple cardstock is of course StampinUP! as well as the Thanks stamp.
On another note we will post tonight how many people we will have for the swap, so be sure to let us know if you want in. Have a fantabulous Monday!!

COLOR CHALLENGE WEEK, Day 5

Wow is this a busy page, I'm laughin'.. LOL. I didn't realize how crazy it was. I did this about a year and a half ago I think. I was still a bit new at scrapping. I remember I was having such a hard time with photo matting. I believe I was going retro or something and attempting to think out of the traditional "mat"box and thought triangle's would work for some reason.. LOL. It does have green, purple and blue on it, so I thought I'd toss it up here. It does bring back fun memories of one of my kids favorite things to do on vacation!

COLOR CHALLENGE WEEK, Day 4

Here is a 12x12 I did using the challenge colors. I used my Silhouette for the three big flowers. I used the print and cut. It's pretty cool. One of my bff's Dawn inspired me to try and it's a pretty cool feature. Thanks Dawn. It's like the Cricut Imagine, just WAAAY cheaper version. I think I got my Silhouette for $100. Anyway. I used some the arrows are chipboard from American craft. The paper is all DCWV. I wanted to add a "kidlike" element to this so I took white pre embossed paper and wet and crinkled it, straightened it out and took a q-tip to my SU inkspots and just did it willy nilly. I though it kind of looked like what a toddler might color. The stickers came from my stash. I outlined the flowers in one of my other FAVORITY FAVE tools, which is a gelly roll clear sparkly pen. The bling are stickers.
