Easter week

Hello everyone!  Kel really wanted to give his card a different feel and use non traditional Easter Colors, I think she accomplished that job every well.  I love the rustic feel.

Kel's recipe:

All papers were from her stash - with the exception of the bunny head, that was Recollections and sand papered

Eggs and Bunny are from Doodle Charms, pg 89 for eggs and pg 88 for the bunny head.

Corner rounder for the papers and the sentiment.

Another Darice folder to give the egg some dimension.  These folders are awesome, $1.88!!

The sentiment is again, Inkadoo.

Don't you just love the rustic feel?  Thanks for stopping by!!

The eggs, and butterflies are from Doodle Charms, pg 89

The punch is from Fiskars and the papers are from our stashed and of course inked up (we have an inking problem, lol).

Welcome to Valentine's Week........

Good Monday Morning!  We hope you had a great weekend and have today off!!  Here is a card that Kel did at our crop. This card was made in like 5 minutes!!

Kraft paper for the base, Creative Memories heart punch for the hearts and washi tape and the stamp is from our stash and its done!! How cute is this card.

We saw this card in a magazine that Kelly brought to the crop and figure it would be a quick project and although most projects don't end up that way, this one was!  This card layout can work for any occasion and look just as smart!  Easter, birthday, St. Patty's day so many options as the Washi tape comes in so many different fun and different patterns and the best part its self adhesive.  More to come on Washi.

Thanks for stopping by.

PRIZE CHALLENGE...Taking a "new" look at SWAP GOODIES......

Here is a card that we did using swap goodies from a Cricut cut swap we did at least a year ago, if not more.  We took a few minutes to look through these fantastic cuts and pulled out this cute flower from our friend, Rhonda over at http://bumblcreate.blogspot.com/.  Kel brought over her Three Bird Scrap Stack and we pulled the green paper from that, matched perfect. Here is our creation.

Please remember to take a peek at Sunday's post with the challenge details!

Hello and happy Thursday!  here is another card I did for a friend that is recovering from quad bypass surgery. Ouch!   I thought that this would cheer her up.  the papers come from Pebbles Inc., Share and Tell "party time girl" 4x6 creative pad They are great little stacks to have on hand.  They come with 30 sheets of paper and 4 sticker sheets.  The strip going across the middle is from the sticker sheet.  I just free hand cut the kite.  I added some white faux stitching too, but it's hard to see with my horrible photography.  Eh, it's 6:30 a.m. here in Boston, lol.   My eyes are not focused yet.. LOL.  The get well soon is from Beyond Birthdays.

WELCOME TO CARD MONTH. We have decided to dedicate December to card making. We are excited too, that along the way we will have some challenges and PRIZES ! So make sure you check us out from time to time. Here is a Waterfall card I did in a Christmas theme. I saw a tutorial on youtube and thought I'd give it a try. I feel bad that I don't remember where. I'm sure if you guys and gals search "Waterfall card" you'll find it. It's pretty cool, you pull the bottom and it flips over and over until you reach the greeting! It's pretty simple. You need a good ruler and a scor pal or bone folder and you're on your way!

SIMPLY SAID

I wanted to thank 2 great people that have been very helpful to me and my family over the last few months. It was sort of half business and half personal so I wanted to just do a simple card, and this is what I came up with. I used Martha Stuart's scoring board to make the envelopes and MS edger for the top of the card. The card is made with some stamping up papers and a stamping up stamp.

STILL BUSY MOVING..UGGG

Here are some cards I whipped up to get my new address and phone number to friends and family. This was found on the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. I totally did not do the shadowing correctly, but went with it anyhow.. LOL. It sorta fit.. it sorta looked fine.. I had sorta printed everything out instead of cutting one and making sure it was ok.. oops.. LOL. So, I went for it, and here is the result! I kept it simple and just inked the edges and added some white pen dots to the words. Inside is a card with my info on it. I cut the envelopes out too for the pure fact that with the gazillions of boxes I have yet to go through are my envelopes somewhere in the sea of cardboard!, so I had to make my own... LOL. I hope everyone is having a great summer! Dawn and her family are off at Disney this week.. woo hoo!

The stamp set it called Welcome Christmas. I put a bit of my own personal touch to it too, Laurie helped as well. I also added these great ornament brads to it from the

They also gave us some to give away to our fantastic followers.. We will be having a challenge after the holiday to win some of these awesome prizes! Their selection is great, the quaility is great. I've used a lot of their products over time and have been pleased!

ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES, Day 4

Here is a GREAT card sent from Maureen. THANKS MAUREEN! We love getting her cards..so much talent! Here's what she had to say: MS Punch is Around the Page called Deco Fan. I cut a 5" card from ivory cardstock. Then I cut a 5" olive green cardstock. . The patterned paper was cut a bit smaller then I rounded the corners. Next is the green scallop circle from Nestabilities which I also embossed. Final piece of ivory is punched and embossed one size smaller. The sentiment "you're never more than a thought away" is from Stampin' Up....just love that saying for a card...so versatile! The ink color is Mellow Moss also from Stampin' Up. I edged the ivory circle in the same color and added 2 heart brads. To add dimension I always use foam dots which I did on the center punch.

Here is a simple card by me! I just HAD to get a hold of this Martha PAP punch called "crackle" Thanks you CropStop for the inspiration. I walked in, and it was on clearance at Michaels. I think I heard angels sing.. LOL The lil snowman was done by Dawn and was in my die cuts swap stash, the sentiment a rub on from stash, papers in stash. Boy I really "stashed" it on this one.. LOL Using up m'stuff.. woo hoo! This punch makes a great creepy background for a halloween card and I also saw it used to make it look like a fringed blanket around a lil dog die cut. So many uses! I have the brrrrr sort of cracked ice look for my card! I bet you gals could think of many more!
