Thinking of you card take 3.........

Good morning!  Here is a card that I did for my sister's nephew.  He is a such a sweet little guy and his Dad is sick, so I thought this may cheer him up a bit.  He just starting playing hockey this year.  I think he will enjoy getting his own mail!

Recipe:

Sports Mania Cartridge - Skates cut at 2", on page 10 - Puck cut @ 1.25" in page 9

I laced up the skates with some twine that I had.

Thanks for stopping by.

Are you ready for some Football??

Hello Everyone!!! Oh how I have missed you all!!! It feels good to post again!!

I had to post this project Kel and I did last night. My family and I are HUGE football fans. My older guy plays high school football and we NEVER miss a Patriots game My husband came home with this little camping table, so we could put our snacks on it during the game. We don't have a coffee table in our living room. He saw a Patriots table in one of the sporting goods stores, but couldn't find it when he was ready to buy one.

I said, oh, I can make us a great Patriots table. So Kel and I got busy with Vinyl and this what we came up with. I had already cut out the flags, so that was easy. The helmets are from Sports Mania and the letters are from Alphalicious (I think). I was so happy with the outcome.
Here is a close up of the letters and the helmet. Number 12 is Tom Brady our awesome Quarterback. I have to say the Gents in my house did love the outcome as well.

Kel and I had a great time making this and lots of laughs as well.

I hope everyone has a great Monday. Hopefully Kel and I will be back 100 percent soon!!!

PHOTO ELF IS ON SALE - WOOHOO!!

Good morning everyone!! I woke up and thought it was Thursday. I think this is not going to be a a good day!! I received an email from PhotoElf, one our favorite faves, saying that PhotoElf is 50% off, you can download it for $20!!! Go on over and check them out, http://www.photoelf.com/.
Here is a page I did using PhotoElf. The pictures of my son playing soccer are a collage and I printed them out as one picture, so easy!!!! The smaller pictures are 2.2 and the bottom picture is 4 x 6.5.

Use a big piece of paper as the mat, and two embellishments, which are cut from the Sports Mania Cartridge.

I did a little doodling on the left side of the pictures and I was done.

BRIGHT BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL - Day 3

Good morning Ladies!!! I hope all is well and everyone is recovered from Easter. It seems so long ago!! Here is a layout I did of my youngest guy (when he was 7) playing baseball. I used a lot of bright colors on this layout. There were a lot of bright colors in the pictures so I thought would play those up. The strips of paper are from CosmoCricket and I believe are from the Boyfriend Stack. I love CC paper. Of course the blue cardstock is from StampinUP! My go to paper. The world All Star is cut from the Sports Mania Cartridge. The word "our" is thickers and I inked with blue ink.

I also wanted to let you know, I am sooooo excited that I order the new Cricut Expression 2 yesterday. Oh yes I did. I am so excited. I may not be on the blog for a while as I will be sitting on my front stairs patiently awaiting for UPS to deliver it. I will definitely let you know how I like it. Has any one else jumped on the Provocraft wagon and order one? I would love to know if you did!!
Have a great day!!

PHENOMINAL PHOTO WEEK - Day 1

Good morning all! I hope you had a great weekend. I do have to say I did spend quite a bit of time down in the scrap cave creating! So it was a good weekend for me. I did this karate page over the weekend. Kel and I wanted to you show you how AWESOME Photo Elf is.

Both of these pictures are printed using photo elf. The bigger picture of the entire greeen/red belt class was cropped to 5 x 7. We wanted to show you how close you can crop a picture. My son is in the front row of the class, I used the same picture and zoomed into my son's face and was able to crop only his face at 4x4. You can crop photo's to any size you want. It is so easy!!!

Here is the close up of the 4x4 photo.

I used the Sports Mania cart to cut the title at 1 3/4 then shadowed, page 58. I cut the karate dude at 1 3/4 on page 58 as well. The red paper is StampinUP. The green is from my stash. The patterned paper is from DCWV and K&Company both are from PhotoMat packs, so they are already 4x6. And the little buttons are StampinUP! as well.
