Beach Fun.......and a thank you!

Hello everyone.  Sorry we have been MIA. End of the year stuff is killing us.  Kel's youngest just graduated High School, yay Amanda!!  Dawn and I still have kids in school until Wednesday.  So we are busy trying to get everything done.

This past weekend Kel and I were lucky enough to get away to Cape Cod for the weekend.  My cousin has a cute little cottage and she let us (and my sister and my cousin) use it for free for the weekend!!  We had such an awesome relaxing weekend.  Just what we all needed.

Before I left I made my cousin a thank you card.

What I used:

DCWV Tahiti Beach Stack for the base of the card and for the word patterned paper
Fiskars wave punch
Life's a Beach Cartridge - chair cute at 2.5
Re'collections paper sanded down
My Creative Time Teeny Tags (Thank you)
StampinUP!  Hodgepode for the little paper clip
StampinUP! Magic Mesh (my last piece, so sad)

I have to say I was quite please with the outcome.

Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by!!!

  5. Laurie, this card is simply amazing!!! It's just fabulous!

Thank you for stopping by with concern. I've feeling much better, and trying to get back to crafting. Unfortunately, it's soooo hot here it makes it difficult for me to get to moving as I'd like.

Anyway, I expect to have something to post soon as I'm anxious to get my hands into all my little toys as I've been away from them so long now.

Hugs, love you, and thanks for being a great family-friend. I've missed you, and have prayed all my blog neighbors were having great fun and remained healthy during my absence.
