CUTTLEBUG CORNER

Me and Best Hobby Eva LOVE our cuttlebugs and we like to show them off as much as we can. We are planning to get together with some excellent embossing & die cut ideas with our "bugs". AHA! NOW THATS A GOOD IDEA!

I got this tip from Cardztv..please visit below...I love this blog! This may seem simple, but to me was an aha moment.. LOL. Mary, the blog owner was doing a Q&A and somebody asked her how she chose colors..more specifically solid colors. She said that lots of time's she just goes to any patterned paper that's already printed and takes the color combos they used! She usually uses 3 of them. One color she pulls and uses mostly, then a second not so much then a third just to accent. I thought this brilliant..DUH! LOL. I mean I've tried color wheels, scraplifted, done it blind.. but NOW.. i will just flip through my favorite eye catching patterned paper and use the combos that somebody else dealth with putting together.. LOL! I'm so dang creative!

3/21/10 SUNDAY CHALLENGE

In honor of this weekends nice spring weather, I think a very appropriate challenge would be to see a layout using bright color...pastel, spring-like colors. I don't use a lot of those and would love some great ideas to lift! LOL. I also don't use a lot of stamps & I have so many, so lets incorporate stamping as well.
A pastel-ish, stamp-ish, spring-ish challenge-ish! Have fun!

The CM crop was sooooo much fun! I think me and my bff's had some great success in finishing up some adorable pages! Send in your fav so we can all enjoy! I think I may be right in estimating that the average was 10-15 pages each?? I believe I did 12 1/2... LOL. Yep, I got one that needs a few more things on it. Well ladies have fun, enjoy your Sunday!
