WELCOME FOLLOWERS and BORDER IDEAS
These were fun. They are the Wishful Borders Collection from Creative Memories I got them as a free gift from my consultant at a recent crop. I love the colors and the ease of getting a border together in a matter of a minute. I added the lettering and I inked edges and sent a few things through the cuttlebug for texture. I even made one journal block with the set too. You can leave plain, add more, add less, the choice is yours! You get an instruction sheet along with set if you need inspiration But weither it's CM or your own creation, have fun making some borders and send them this way if you do!

FUN FLOWER TO MAKE
I ORIGINALLY DID THIS LAYOUT WITH A DIFFERENT FLOWER FROM A CLASS I TOOK, BUT I LIKED THIS ONE BETTER.

I USED THE FLOWER #34 on the OVERLAY from WEDDING/MARIAGE CRICUT CARTRIDGE

I CUT A STRIP OF OFF WHITE PAPER 3 1/2 x 12" AND DID CUTS STARTING AT 3" then going down a 1/4" in size each time. Doing 4 altogether.

CHALKING on STAMPS
I just lub these little guys. I'm a Twilight fan and these two guys look like the two main characters Edward and Bella. This will make for some fun pages for my daughter who is a much bigger fan! I'm not much of a stamper or a chalker, but this was fun! I got the stamps from Greetings Farm and to apply the chalk I used Q-tips and these cotton "craft" applicator balls I got at the CK convention. I still need some practice, but I think my pages may have some "chalky" new looks. I'll post the final page when I'm done!

4 Challenge by Laurie

Ok Girls, I finished my challenge. Ironically they are pictures from Alex's 4th birthday. Go figure!! All about 4 this page. I used the coordinations paper for the first time. Oh my, I think this is my favorite paper now! I just love it. Cuttlebug is the yellow paper. I got a close up of the yellow paper. I inked that embossed paper to make it pop. I actually scrapped on a Wednesday night!!!
COOL IDEA FOR CHALK
"You can chalk on black & white photo's. Just print the photo in black and white on matte paper not glossy, use your chalks to enhance certain things on photo. You can add some pink to cheeks or maybe red chalk to the lips, or even color on clothing depending on the picture. let set for a day before adding lay out to album" THANK YOU Chalk4ever ON SCRAPBOOK.com for this great tip/ technique. I'm going to give it a try! Anyone else? Let us know.. have fun!
