These were easy and fun to make for a friend of mine. I got the tumbler tiles at Home Depot for about $4 for a pack of 8. They are just shy of 4" x 4". I printed the pics out at 3.5" x 3.5" after creating an edge on them in Photoshop Elements. I put a rub-on word on each of them, attached them to the tiles (after dusting them off) with a thin layer of Mod Podge and then applied 3 coats of Mod Podge (matte finish) to each, letting each layer dry before adding the next. I cut squares of cork for the bottoms to protect surfaces that they are on because they are very rough and heavy. They still need to be sprayed with 3-5 coats of acrylic sealer to make them completely water proof. How cute is my friend's baby grand-daughter?!?
Have a fabulous weekend!

ReplyDeleteThey look great Dawn! I made three sets of coasters as Christmas gifts this year. I tied them with a piece of pretty ribbon and attached a "handmade by Judy" tag. Everyone loved them!
ReplyDeleteThese are so darling Dawn! I love this idea so much I am going to have to scrap lift this idea and make some for my daughter with her little one on the coasters. I will put them in their Easter baskets. Super, super cute and she is adorable!
