CK Manchester

Front view of the shirt, you can't see the little scrap lady ironed on, but she is very cute!! This is also a picture from a class we took. Such an annoying tool, but it did make us laugh!!

Dawn, Laurie and Kel at CK Manchester. We were very serious about promoting our blog, as you can see from the shirts that Kelly made. Thanks, Patty for taking the picture. We had soo much fun! Definately will go next year.

Circle Challenge Done

Ok ladies, I finished my circle challenge (finally). I took some cute pictures of my favorite golden retriever and put it too work. Some of the circles I cut out with the Cricut using PaperPups. Such a cute cartidge. The patterned paper and some of the dog embellishments I got from Dawn (thank you). Dawn got them on sale at her friends store in Lawrence.

Wow, this is really a very busy page.. LOL. I took this class today. It was hosted by Quick Quotes. The papers are real pretty! The flowers, borders and circles are precut and you just pop them out. The quote reads "Time Lends us Memories, Enjoy each minute. I thought my son and my husband enjoying every minute of fishing of his boat was appropriate :) Wow, my son's fish is definately a throwback.. LOL.... but he's still smilin...eh..it's being out with daddio fishin' that counts!

HAPPY NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY!

I hope everybody is spending it in a fun SCRAPPY! way' Me and some good friends went to the Creative Keepsakes Convention for the day and took some fun classes and bought LOTS of fun stuff. I will definately be sharing some of the ideas from classes and showing some of my new goodies off too this week. If you have some ideas, projects, etc. you want to "scrap forward", send them on to me!! Have a fun day!

CIRLCE CHALLENGE by SHELLYK

Okay so I used brown rustic paper along with two different photos on top matted on light brown paper then borders. Random circles and some clipboard sticker letters as well as other kinds of letters. Journaling and Surprise title. I didn't have enough room for the butterfly.

MOTHERS DAY CARD MAP IDEA

For Mom, auntie, sis, godmother, grandmother or any friend you want to remember on mom's day :) I liked this simple but bold layout from PageMaps. I really like the idea of different polka dots. I thought I'd try it with an image other than a flower....hmmm, something to think about.. have fun...get creative,and don't forget to show us what you did! I letcha know what I come up with. Thanks for the inspiration Becky Fleck.

FUN LAYOUT USING MESH and FOIL RUB-ONS

This is why I hate RUB-ONS..ugg...they kind of feell apart here and there, but I had them for a while and wanted to try. In an album or from afar, they look ok I guess. They are foil rub-ons..kinda different..the silver dots are stick ons that came with the rub ons. I like the MESH, it has little white "splatters" all over it. that was fine to work with. I ran the blue strip to the left throught he CUTTLEBUG using a sizzix embossing folders. It's tiny flowers..I LOVE IT! The paper & flourish stamp are STAMPIN' UP. The layout itself was scraplifted from Page Maps book, Becky Fleck. She incorporated the ribbon better than I did.. LOL. Feel free to express your own talents with this layout idea...have fun!

CIRCLE/BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE by Kel

This was fun. The circles are Chipboard! The lil butterfly is stamped, the letters come from a book of "punch out letters" by Best Occassions and the green strip through the middle is cuttlebugged with a flowery swirl.
