A wall hanging for a friend that just had a baby boy. I got the kit at CKC lastyear. It is from Kellers Creations. http://www.acidfree.com/ andhttp://kellerscreations.blogspot.com
I was surfin' along the internet for "2 pic scrapbooking layouts" and here is one I found. I like the lo of the pics and the circles and of course the little butterfly. Being springtime and all, I figured I"d give it a try. I hope you do too! Have fun. I've been nuts about circles and scalloped circles lately! Thank you for the great inspiration PageMaps!
Amanda loves to take pics of heself.. LOL. I ocassionally look through the camera to see what she's left. I just fell in love with this look she has on this one, I just had to scrap! The animal print is representitive of the fact that she loves anything animal print! Those pink flowers are rub ons! the "cherish" I stamped with a very light color so that I could trace in white. The outside swirls are stamped in an alibaster colored chalk ink pad then traced with white pen and glitter pen
I was cleaning up my scrap space and I looked over and these colors were in a pile and I liked the color combo. I'm going to try a layout using those papers this weekend. If you give it a shot, lemme know! Shades of blues and greens with some silver.. hmmmm, should be fun!
A photo that develops before your eyes! They have improved, but are still very prone to fading in light. Due to the nature of most of the prints, they should NOT be cropped. Cropping may result in chemical seepage which will damage the print and may be harmful to your hands and eyes . Hmm, so I'm thinkin' good thing for scanners! Thanks Lifetips for this tip!
Tomorrow, Wed., 4/14 HSN will be launching the Cricut Cake. It will air midnight and then tomorrow a.m. from 6-8 a.m, 11-1 and other various times throughout the day. I'm going to tune in to see the newest ProvoCraft phenom! Plus, I like cake...yummmmmm. If you catch it,, I'd love to hear your comments!
Here is my take on the shape challenge! Nothing fancy here. I tore paper, I used pre-embossed white paper as mats from DCWV, I cut the corners with a Creative Memories corner rounder. I LOVE this one, and the butterflies are rub-ons. The clear strip with the words & flowers on bottom came with a set I got called Bohemian.. I forget company, but I'll find out!
I saw this on SCRAP-MAPS.com Perfect for that Easter family pic. I chose it because I'm a fan of tearing paper, and I liked it because I find adding ribbon a challenge. I normally think of adding ribbon when it's too late and I'm sitting there with it in my hand with no idea on where to put it on my l/o. LOL. Here is one I'm going to try. Happy tearing & ribboning everyone!
This is was fun, I did it at a recent Creative Memories Crop I used IN MY KITCHEN cricut cartridge for the die cuts. I then used my cuttelbug to emboss images SWISS DOTS and DEVINE SWIRLS. Thanks LB for letting me borrow :) I just love pics of my lil ones sleepin' awww. Yikes, not so little anymore.. lol. She dreams of being a famous chef, him always of money, money, money.. LOL
PHOTO SAFE; A marketing term used for products sold for use with photos and memorabilia. Photo safe is an ambiguous term and one that is not regulated, and while it is probably preferable to select products clearly marked acid free, lignin free and PVC free, the term has gained wider acceptance in the last few years and if the product is from a reputable manufacturer it is likely truely photo safe.
