Another Halloween Mini

Happy Friday, good readers! Here's to a wonderful weekend ahead of us!

Today, I am sharing the awesome Halloween mini that I got in a swap from our friend Rhonda over at Scrap Happens. We each had to make two pages and send them in to Rhonda. In return, we each got back an amazing Halloween mini! The pictures really don't do it justice. We can't believe all the work that Rhonda must have put into each one! I have already filled mine with pictures from last Halloween and it is sitting in our living room for all to enjoy. Thanks again, Rhonda, for the fun swap!

HALLOWEEN RECIPE SWAP PAGES

 Here are some pages I did for a Halloween 6x6 recipe mini album swap at www.crafthappens.net/
 I used all kinds of stuff from my  stash and a few items I picked up at AC Moore.  All of the recipe cards pull out so some of them are inserted sideways.  The other sides are done as well but I am still working on them so I will post them this week.  This was fun  to do, I will be sending them off soon.

PRIZE CHALLENGE...Taking a "new" look at SWAP GOODIES......

Here is a card that we did using swap goodies from a Cricut cut swap we did at least a year ago, if not more.  We took a few minutes to look through these fantastic cuts and pulled out this cute flower from our friend, Rhonda over at http://bumblcreate.blogspot.com/.  Kel brought over her Three Bird Scrap Stack and we pulled the green paper from that, matched perfect. Here is our creation.

News Flash - Swap news

Good morning!

I hope everyone one is having a great morning. Kel and I wanted to let you know that the Holiday Card and Tag Swap was mailed out yesterday!! I have to say you ladies really out did yourselves. The cards and tags are amazing. I think you will all be quite pleased!!!

Kel and I do apologize for getting them out so late, there were some technical difficulties, we finally got those squared away.

WELCOME NEW FOLLOWER

Good Saturday afternoon to all those scrappers out there.

We wanted to give a warm welcome to Ann Lee! Well to Serenity Scrappers. You have come to the right place if you want to share ideas and have fun!! Our motto is scrap it forward!! Welcome!!

Also we wanted to let those that have signed up for the swap know that we did receive a few emails from some ladies, they are running a bit behind. As soon as we receive the ALL the swaps (we have received a good amount already and we LOVE what we have) we will get them out right away!!

HOLIDAY SWAP INFO

It looks like the total will be 11. ! Here are the details

1. 3 Holiday items per baggie. Make 11 baggies. The items can be anything you want as long as they have to do with any holiday.

2. When you are ready to mail out, please contact mailto:Lbaires@cisco.com to get the address of where to mail your package.

3. Please include a self addressed stamped envelope for your return goodies.

4. Please have your swaps to Laurie in two weeks from today - 8/22/10 so we can have them out to everyone by the end of the month.

5. Have fun!

NEW SWAP

1.To participate, please email Laurie at LABAIRES@cisco.com to let her know.

2. We will cap the swap at 12 people.

3. It is a holiday swap, any holiday item goes.

4. To participate, you would get together 3 holiday "items" of ur choice, per baggie, per participant. Example: I'd do 12 of the above baggies.
5. Then you would send your 12 baggies of 3 items ea. in it to Laurie, with a self addressed stamped envelope. A lil extra postage if you can, just in case whats coming back is a bit heavier than what you sent.

And thats it! Laurie & I will do all the separating and mail out. In the end, everybody would get 12 packets of "surprises" each with 3 fun and different items in it. Buttons, bows, brads, punch outs, diet cuts, bling, cut outs, stickers, a card, lace, a border, rub-ons, etc. Whatever, as long as it has to do with a holiday! Have fun, use your imagination! If you participate, you'll need to get ur items to Laurie by 8/20.
