Here is another Father's Day Card

It's Friday!! Woohoo, we made it and the long weekend has just begun!  Yeah!!  I hope everyone had a great week!  Here is a card I did for my dad.  My recipe:

Father's day Cart - Super Dad cut at 2"
Fabric Paper from DCWV - The blue paper
Tim Holtz Alterations Pocket Watches and Steam Punk Folder - I used Steam Punk for this one, I love the look.
DCWV Core'dinations paper, sanded of course
Scalloped punch for the bottom of the card with some faux rub on stitching.  I am sure he will love it.

I hope everyone has an awesome long weekend.  Happy Memorial Day and God Bless our soldiers home and abroad!!

Getting ready for Dad..........

Happy Hump Day! So happy its Wednesday. That means we are so close to Friday and the loooong weekend!  I really need that day off!

I started working on my Father's Day Cards. I wanted to get ahead of the game, then I realized I have two birthday cards I still need to do by Friday! Ooops, I guess not ahead of the game.

I made this card for my hubby, he is such a handy man, he can fix anything!!  Here is my recipe:

StampinUP! Stamps - Tool Time and Nuts and Bolts
DCWV - Tattered Time Paper (that tis the glossy gear paper, I got this stack from Dawn, love it!!)
The base of the card is also DCWV Core'dinations paper.  I used this for the mats of the tools as well.

I used sandpaper on anything core'dinations, give it that rustic feel.

StampinUP Ribbon and close to Cocoa Ink
Happy Father's day on the inside is from Father's Day Cartridge cut at 2"
The hardware is Hodgepodge from StampinUP.

Have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by!

ANOTHER FATHER'S DAY CARD

Hello bloggers!!! I have yet another Father's Day card to show you. This one is for my Uncle (I haven't made one for my husband yet!!). My Uncle is such an awesome guy! Even though he lives in New Jersey, we talk, text (which is very impressive for a man that does not understand technology at all) all the time. He is such an inspiration and I just love him! He has the best sense of humor and has been through a lot in his life yet still manages to laugh!!

He has a motorcycle, so when I saw the Father's Day Cartridge and saw the motorcycle, I thought I have to make him a card. I cut both the motorcycle and the layers @ 2". I didn't have any gray paper ( I have since fixed that problem). So I pulled out some vellum paper and used perfect pearls to get the gray look. Happy Father's Day is cut at 2" as well. Use some bakers twine and the card was done. I am sure he will love it.

Now to to get going on my husband's card!!

Father's day card

Good morning Ladies - Ahh yet another Monday! I feel like it was JUST Monday!! The Relay walk went very well. Our team raised $3,000, so we were proud of our accomplishment!! Here is a picture of the pages on the table. My plan was to decorate the basket, but time got away from me, I just tied a cute ribbon on the top.

Here is a father's day card I made for my Dad. Let me tell you super easy. I used the Father's Day Cartridge (I love this cart) and cute Best Dad Ever at 2.5". I used brown kraft paper and I used the Candy Cane Strips folder. The strip of paper across is from Cloud Nine - Cocoa Mint (I love, love this stack).
