Happy Easter!! Too cute!

Happy Friday everyone and Happy Easter. I can't believe Easter is this Sunday! So crazy how fast this year is going.

How cute are these little bags Kelly made as place cards for Easter Sunday dinner. I just love them.

Kell said, "These are two of a set of 8 treat bags I am doing for my Easter dinner table. I cut the little bag from Tags, Bags, and Boxes cartridge at 7" and the critters from Create a Critter  at 3".  They work up super fast and will be adorable around the table. "

We hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

Happy Easter - from your friends at SS, Kel, Laurie and Dawn

Easter Week

Good morning. Welcome to day four. I hope you have been enjoying the week.    Here is a card I made I wanted a more elegant feel.

My recipe:

All papers are from StampingUP! Sunshine Garden Kit

Doodlecharms from the eggs cut at 4.5" and shadowed  I think took out my Inkadoo stamps that have flourishes on them and stamped each egg with a different color and different flourish.  The of course pop dotted them as well.

Inkadoo for the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Easter week

Hello everyone!  Kel really wanted to give his card a different feel and use non traditional Easter Colors, I think she accomplished that job every well.  I love the rustic feel.

Kel's recipe:

All papers were from her stash - with the exception of the bunny head, that was Recollections and sand papered

Eggs and Bunny are from Doodle Charms, pg 89 for eggs and pg 88 for the bunny head.

Corner rounder for the papers and the sentiment.

Another Darice folder to give the egg some dimension.  These folders are awesome, $1.88!!

The sentiment is again, Inkadoo.

Don't you just love the rustic feel?  Thanks for stopping by!!

Easter Week.......

Hello everyone. Welcome to day two of Easter Week. Kel and I really tried to make each card different.  It was not easy, but I think we accomplished it.  Stay tuned all week and let us know what you think.

The recipe of our card was:

The little girl is from A Child's Year, page 33. we flipped her to face to the right, and cut her at 3.25"

The eggs, and butterflies are from Doodle Charms, pg 89

The punch is from Fiskars and the papers are from our stashed and of course inked up (we have an inking problem, lol).

The sentiment is from Inkadoo.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Easter card week........

Good morning!  I hope you had a great weekend. Kel and I were busy in the cave getting our Easter Cards done and thought we would show them off this week.  Hopefully you will find some inspiration.

My recipe:

All papers are K&Company from  my stash and they all matched so well I had to use them.

Bunny is from Stretch your Imagination, pg 67 cut @3.25 and layered. I couldn't even stand this little lady  standing on the egg, so cute!!!

Basket and Eggs are from Doodlecharms page 89, basket is cut at 3.50" and the eggs 2.25.

I cuttlebugged the basket with a new folder from Darice. Have you see these in AC Moore, each folder is ONLY $1.88!!  So crazy, I bought about 5.  They aren't very fancy with their names, some don't even have names.

Grass is from the string like ribbon I had laying around, it made such fun grass.

The white paper is of course Swiss dots!!

ST. PATTY'S

I hope everybody has a fun and safe St. Patty's Day!  Here are two step cards I did.

Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers—
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through!

Gettin' Disney Done

I am back to getting some more Disney layouts done. I took soooo many pictures on our trip, that I may never be done! It is fun to go back and look at these with the kids, though, and relive the fun time that we had. I have been using some of the March Madness Challenges over at Boston Area Scrap Fanatics to get them done. Lots of fun going on over there - check it out, if you have a chance!

This first one was a sketch challenge. The sketch had a big heart in the background, but all I saw was Mickey Ears!

The next challenge was to use the title and/or words from the song "Don't Worry, Be Happy". These pictures of the kids at the Spirit of Aloha Luau made me think of that song!

This challenge was to use mostly pink on something. You can't get much more pink-ish than Disney princesses!

Everything was from my "Disney stash", which became quite large when we got back from our trip in 2011. I have to start using it up, so I will be back with more Disney layouts for sure!

Have a thrilling Thursday!

Vintage Birthday Card

Happy Wednesday! We are half way there! I thought I would share this birthday card that I made for a friend who loves vintage things. I was inspired by this pin on Pinterest. I used Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante papers for the layers and for the ticket and clocks. The bling and flowers are from my stash and may be Recollections - I don't recollect (ha, ha!). The bling came in one big piece and fit perfectly on the card. I did a little distressing and inking on the edges, too. It looks like it was harder to make than it really was!

Hope everyone is having a great week!

IF YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE DIFFERENT....

Never Change!   Here is a LO I did a while ago.  I saw that quote online somewhere and instantly thought of my daughter.  She just loves T. Swift and the quote is so her, that  I just had to build a layout around it.

This is a picture of my mom and kids just before my son was going out of state to a huge Boy Scout convention for a week.  It was such a serious moment, all these boys trying to hold back "I'll miss you " tears and just as I take the pic, she slides her hat to the side and makes a face.. LOL.  She keeps us laughing!  I kept the LO simple and added this cute owl that I got in a swap.  In fact I'm pretty sure Dawn made it. My daughter loves owls.

Football Week Day 5 (super, super easy page)

Good Friday morning! Yay for Friday!!!  I can't believe its March 1st!!!  Thanks so much for sticking with us this week. I hope you found this week informative and inspirational!!

This was the easiest page of all. The brown border and the word football are all one piece, Dawn cut it from the Silhouette!  So adorable!  I adhered that to a 12x12 creme sheet of paper. The football and the word football on the top are recollections 3D stickers and I only matted on picture adhere them all down and the page is done!! Really that simple.

Thanks again for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!!!
